Over 150 people attended the event and everyone enjoyed all the workshops and 65 pizzas were made.
Monday 6 July. 21 people attended the workshop held in the polytunnel on Bulwell Forest Garden. There was a steady flow of people helping out, on average for 30-45 mins, and the flow of people worked really well. The sign is being finished off at further craft sessions in the coming weeks by local people who are all keen to continue the work. Feedback was great, and people particularly enjoyed the quiet pace and social aspect of the session.
Did anyone visit Tesco last Sunday to see all the lovely crafters and their beautiful displays.
We hope to work with Tesco throughout the year and put on more craft fairs so please look out for future dates.
Thank you to all the craft stall holders for supporting our first craft Fair. We hope you enjoyed joining us as much as we enjoyed arranging it!
Thanks also to everyone who came and bought some goodies and supported handmade businesses!

The Nottingham Wind Ensemble (NWE) was established in 1987 as a small group of clarinets and flutes. Since then it has grown to a full-sized community wind band, made up of mixed ages and abilities, and providing a great environment to develop ensemble playing skills. Of the many players who have joined over the years, some have moved on to more advanced groups, but many more find their niche within this friendly group and enjoy the high standard of music making that the group produce.
NWE perform a wide variety of concerts every year to help raise money for local charities and community projects, and in 2001 they won a silver award in the community class at the National Concert Band Championships. Since their formation, NWE have been sponsored by Windblowers, Nottingham’s premier music shop.
There’s been some wonderful things happening this week. Two great workshops took place on Tuesday with The Jewellery making and Textile Art. Both workshops were well-attended and a hive of activity with Lots of positive feedback. Everyone enjoyed themselves.
A huge Thank you to both Artist, Bulwell Forest Garden and Participants for making both workshops a success!
